Teaching and Training Contract
This contract is concluded between Autoškola Prusko s.r.o. represented by ing. Kamil Prusko, ič.: 07310064 (hereinafter referred to as the driving school) and the applicant for a driving licence of the relevant group (hereinafter referred to as the applicant) pursuant to the Civil Code 89/2012 Coll. and Act No. 247/2000 Coll. on the acquisition and improvement of professional competence to drive motor vehicles, as amended. The conclusion of the contract means the applicant’s personal participation in the course enrolment and his/her handwritten signature confirming the applicant’s agreement to the general terms and conditions of the driving school and the current price of the course according to the valid price list, which is unchangeable during the course. By concluding the contract, the applicant confirms that he/she understands the general terms and conditions of the driving school, the price of the course and the school regulations.
1. Course fee
It is regulated for each type of training by a valid price list, placed on the driving school’s website. Unless otherwise agreed between the applicant and the driving school, the full amount agreed before the start of the course must be paid at the latest before the end of the tuition and training (the end date of the tuition and training being the date of the last lesson or the last hour of training) or within 18 months of the start of the course
2. Withdrawal from the contract by the applicant
The applicant has the right to withdraw from the contract without giving any reason. It is sufficient to notify the driving school of this fact. It takes effect the day after the notification of withdrawal. The driving school is entitled to reimbursement of the costs associated with the withdrawn lessons and training. If there is an overpayment, the driving school shall refund it to the applicant without delay. If there is an underpayment, the applicant shall be obliged to reimburse it without delay. On request, the applicant will be issued with a certificate of partial completion of the education and training pursuant to Act No 247/2000 Coll. by the agreed date.
3. Education and training
The content of the course is governed by Act No 247/2000 Coll. and its subsequent amendments. The lesson lasts 45 minutes, the driving training (hereinafter referred to as practice driving) lasts two lessons unless the applicant and the driving training teacher (hereinafter referred to as the teacher) agree on only one lesson. All pre-arranged dates for practice driving and the final test shall be binding on the applicant. If the applicant is unable to attend the arranged driving lesson, he/she may cancel the driving lesson no later than 6 p.m. on the previous day. If the applicant fails to attend the pre-arranged driving lesson without excuse, he/she is obliged to pay the driving school a compensation of CZK 500 for each missed 90 minutes lesson, which is used to cover the driving school’s costs and is payable at the latest at the next lesson. The applicant must carry the applicant’s licence card with him/her for each driving lesson. If the licence card is lost, a duplicate will be issued for a fee of CZK 500.
Both the applicant and the teacher are obliged to arrive on time at the agreed place for the start of the driving lesson. If this is not possible, for example due to the traffic situation, they will inform each other immediately by telephone. If the applicant fails to arrive at the practice ride without excuse, the teacher is obliged to wait 15 minutes at the agreed place and during this time he/she will try to contact the applicant by phone. After this period, the lesson is considered cancelled without apology. If the teacher fails to arrive on time for the pre-arranged lesson, the applicant shall wait 15 minutes at the agreed location and attempt to contact the teacher by telephone. If the practice ride does not take place for any reason, it will be made up at the earliest possible time.
The Driving School reserves the right to change the date of practice runs, the teacher or the training vehicle, but only for reasons of particular importance beyond its control.
