passenger car - driving course

manual transmission

This is our standard car driving course for obtaining a Class B driving license. It includes both theoretical lessons and practical driving sessions. The practical training is conducted in a 2019 Toyota Yaris, equipped with a petrol engine and manual transmission.

automatic transmission

Compared to a manual transmission course, the main difference is that you’ll be driving a car with an automatic transmission. Consequently, your license will carry a restriction, limiting you to automatic vehicles only (code 78), meaning you won’t be able to drive manuals. However, this restriction can be easily lifted by passing a driving test in a manual car. We offer this service as well, of course.

After successful completion we will move on to real traffic. We will start in light traffic and as we progress we will get into the city centre with heavy traffic.

final exam

Test for group B consists of two parts. You have 3 attempts for each part of the exam. In practice, this means that if you fail the theory part, you have two more options. If you still fail, you have to repeat the whole theoretical preparation ( lectures) again at the driving school and then you have another 3 attempts. Only then do you proceed to the practical part of the test (driving). If you do not pass at 3 attempts, you repeat all the driving classes back at school again. You have a maximum of 1 year to complete the test procedure, i.e. from the first test to the last possible one. After that you have to start a completely new course and take the whole driving school again.

1. Theory test

It takes place at the Ostrava City Hall, Sokolská střída. 28, Ostrava (next to the Moravel shop). Before the tests you need to have paid the administrative fee for the test in the amount of 700 CZK and bring a valid ID card with you to the tests, if you already have a european driving license of different group, you should also bring it. In the test itself you need to achieve a minimum of 43 points out of 50, only then you are admitted to the test drive.

2. Driving test

The test starts in the one-way street Gregorova, next to the Municipality of Ostrava – Department of Traffic and Administrative Activities. A pre-trip inspection of the vehicle is carried out before the actual driving and then, according to the instructions of the test commissioner, the applicant is obliged to demonstrate independent, smooth and economical driving in compliance with all traffic regulations. The ride lasts at least 30 minutes and is conducted in the centre and the nearest surroundings ( Přívoz, Fifejdy, Mariánské hory, Slezská or Vítkovice)
